View Full Version : Just thinking ...

I was just working on a couple of sites that I'm reselling and developing through Rochen, and I started thinking... I've been a Rochen customer for a few months now, and I'm thrilled with them as a host for my reseller and development needs.

The sites I've developed (mainly using Joomla!) haven't been extremely high volume sites, but they load fast, are exceedingly stable, and have provided my clients with an excellent internet experience for their customers and visitors.

While I've had a few quirky-interesting problems over the past few months, particularly with my email accounts, the Tech Guys have been all over it, and have been an incredible asset because they've gotten me (and my clients!) back in action quickly and without any hassles.

I even accidentally deleted one of my (biggest) clients, and posted a trouble ticket to see if they could restore the site (OK, ok, I should have done a backup myself, but...) Anyway, they had the site restored less than 10 minutes after I put in the ticket. My client never even knew the site was down.

I've been incredibly impressed with Rochen's commitment to excellence, and their dedication to making my life as a developer and reseller as easy as possible.

I spent 15 years as a mainframe computer operator (back in the day!), mainly on second shift. That meant that when I did my job, nobody noticed or said thanks. In many ways, Rochen's level of service reminds me of that experience. I don't often think about how hard they work behind the scenes making sure that things go right - because they almost never go wrong.

We don't always take the time to say thanks for good service - we just come to expect it. But I felt that I had to say "good job" to the folks at Rochen.

There are cheaper hosting companies - but I believe that you get what you pay for, and you should pay for what you get. I'm willing to pay a bit more for the quality of service and the peace of mind they provide.
