View Full Version : The Vault Saved My Bacon!

Yesterday I unceremoniously hosed an important website that is hosted on Rochen. I unzipped a file in the wrong directory and that was the end of the site.
I contacted Brad, who seems to be one of those tireless kind of guys who is always available, and asked him what was the best course of action to restore the files. He mentioned the 'vault' which was something I wasn't familiar with. Well, the vault saved my bacon. What a great system to restore files!
In my opinion Rochen and it's people rock.

Once again the Technical Team saved us.
Having messed around with the configuration files and managing to take a working website down - The Vault and the Rochen Technical Team came to our assistance.
A quick backup reinstall using the Vault- a little of back-room technical knowledge and the Rochen Technical Team got us up and running within 15minutes.
Not only that - we had been fighting with the problem through the early hours of Sunday / Monday and I can confirm the support was as good at 2am UK time as it is through the day.
Keep up the good work Rochen
(PS Chris can you check out a bonus for my hero Martin ? )

Thanks Gary! :)
I am glad Martin got this sorted out for you. Also, yes, Rochen Vault is a really great tool. I don't think most people appreciate the value until they actually need to use it though.
(PS Chris can you check out a bonus for my hero Martin ? ):D
