I've been running a site for about 6 months now that has been growing steadily and now consumes about a Rochen Reseller Plan 4. I had been with another hosting company that I thought looked good going in, but that was not the case. I abandoned 6 months of a paid up 1 year term to come here, on the advice of another Rochen reseller.
I've now been with Rochen for only a week, but I've actually gotten comments from MY users that the site's performance and availability is noticably improved. That says it all!
Here are the things that are reasons to pay the premium to host your site on Rochen.net:
Customer Service - other people promise it, these guys do it. no gimmicky guarantees, and no chat line... they just get it done in a professional manner.
Open Information - my prior company was never able to tell me what was going on when I had problems... no information about what caused the problems, or what was being done about it.... just "we are monitorying it". Rochen will most likely tell you about a problem and what the cause was when you didn't even know that there was a problem!
CPanel - the others are micky mouse compared to this. my prior hosting company was down many times for Ensim issues. CPanel is the Mercedes of control panels.
No Overselling - this is one I'll have to take their word on for now, but Rochen says they don't oversell the servers. that is a very good thing. I believe that was the primary reason for problems on my prior hosted server... early on was good, then a server would get overloaded and crash. Rochen doesn't do that.
Systems Management - I work for a large international IT consulting firm, and we preach this to our clients. Rochen gets it. They seem to have good change management, configuration management and problem tracking. Even though they have a small staff, they are quality people that manage the environment ... not a bunch of hackers that jump from issue to issue. I'm basing that on my experience in only a week, plus looking back at the dialogs in the forums.
That's all that comes to mind right now... just wanted to let you know that they ARE worth it! (Rochen has no affiliate programs, so I get nothing out of promoting these guys)
