Hi,

I sent you guys an email via your site on last Fri. But I didn't hear from you yet. I figure this may be the good way to conact you. My questions are as follow:

1. I'm interested the reseller plan (plan 1). I understand that the plan would have 20 GB bandwidth. Say I have 3 accounts including my site. Will I be able to set the limit of bandwidth to each account via control panel?

2. I know emails are retrieve from an email server. This question may be stupid. If a person retrieve his email from web mail, does this add more bandwidth to the site? What's the mail box size? Can I assign each mail box size to each account through control panel?

3. Do I get a static IP address? Does each domain name get its own static IP address?

4. Are you using Unix machine or Window machine?

Thanks for your help!

Fred

I don't handle the sales email for the company. However, I shall have this checked for you :)

Yes, you can set the limits for each domain via the reseller control panel (WHM).

Whether they view it via webmail or download it via POP3 in an email client such as Outlook, the bandwidth will still be counted. Yes, you can set the maximum mail box size for each mail account.

Your main reseller domain name will be given it's own dedicated IP adddress. However, any additional domains you setup will be setup under a name based system. There is no need for a dedicated IP on each site, unless they are running SSL, Anonymous FTP or require personalized name servers - this is why your main domain needs an IP. Additional IPs can be purchased for $4.50/month each, should you require any additional.

All our servers currently run Red Hat Linux 7.x.

If there's anything else, please let me know :)

Thanks for your prompt reply.

So if I have 10 email accounts and they all have highly usuage daily. The activities would hurt my bandwidth. Am I right? If I set up a shopping cart without static IP, will I be able to submit the cart?

Thanks!

Yes, that is correct. The bandwidth would be counted. The bandwidth has to be accounted for somewhere :)

You should be able to, yes. However, if you wish to have your own SSL certificate installed, you will need a dedicated IP address.

It was either not received by our servers... or, if you used the contact form - you didn't include an e-mail address.
