A couple more questions.

Are the so-called "Development Tools" listed in your web site (the ones that include unlimited MySQL databases) included with all accounts?

Also, if I exceed my alloted monthly data transfer, is excess transfer billed automatically? My existing data transfer rate is around 3.5 GB per month. Plan #2 would be more than enough. However, one of the sites is seasonal in nature and has a usage spike that lasts a couple of days once every year. The amount of usage during those days would exceed the 8 GB allowed under plan #2 if extended through the entire month. If usage did exceed the limit, would I have to purchase additional GBs or are they billed automatically?

Thanks.

Yes, they are included with all accounts. However, a valid reason is needed for SSH (shell) access.

You would be notified via e-mail when your account had reached its limit. Extra data transfer can be added to your account instantly once requested.

There is a feature in our control panel which notifies you of how much bandwidth has been used that calander month and therefore allows you to 'plan' ahead so extra data transfer can be added to account before it reaches the limit.
Extra transfer is billed by the GB @ $5.50 (USD).

Feel free to ask as many questions as you need to :).

Do you offer counters? As in page counters you can place in your web site for all to see?

We don't officially offer them, however one of our customers has made a system, so yes you can have a counter :)

That would be me. I programmed a PHP and MySQL powered multi-user web hit counter system. It comes complete with a web-based admin so that you don't need to know anything about the backend MySQL stuff.

Page hits are tracked via IP in the backend database so that multiple refreshes don't make the counter go up and up. Visits are determined in the system as one hour. All counter visits expire after one hour, meaning that if you go to the page, one hour later, your IP will trigger a counter count-up.

Counters are based on styles so that you can have different styles for your counters. Don't like the current styles and you want one added, just send them to me and I will hav Chris add them for you to the list of available styles.

My email is trparky@toms-world.org if you want to send any styles to me.
