I'm brand new to web hosting out in the real world. Most of the time, all I heard were bad stories about it, or the prices some paid were more than I felt I would be willing to pay at this time. How many people are hosting at their ISP for premium prices because they don't feel they can deal with a non-responsive hosting service or the horrible things that you hear about?
An experienced friend and I spent time looking for the right place. Rochen seemed to offer the right combination for the right price. They have message boards which I think are very important. Support and sales seemed to be very responsive.

We have been here less than a week, but we just upgraded to Plan 2 so another friend can move her web site with us. We're very excited to have great support and servers that are fast, along with all the little things that seemed to be missing or were expensive options at other hosting sites.
Support and sales ARE very responsive and, to top it off they treat you nicely!
You can't see the customer part of the message boards before you sign up, but they aren't hidden because of crabby customers or full of problems that nobody responds to. They are a respectful, and sometimes fun place, to ask questions and help others and not be put down. I can't tell you how much that means to me! Most of my questions have been answered in the knowlege base in the message boards or from reading the posts of others with the same questions. They have flash tutorials for many things in cpanel to manage your domain.
Those of you that are new and/or not very trusting of hosting sites, do take a good look at what Rochen is offering. I believe that we will be here for a very long time.
