If customer service were gold, Rochen would be Ft. Knox. During my transition from my old host who had horribly overloaded servers the Rochen staff and community were very helpful and not once condescending. This despite a several day long exchange in email with their help desk over what I thought was a configuration problem and turned out to be my own mistake on a password. I've always said I would be happy to pay more for a reliable host, well I'm paying pennies more and I can finally rest and relax knowing my domains are in good hands. You get what you pay for and with Rochen youre going to get the support and service you deserve, I'd stake my 10 years of IS/IT experience on it.

Time for an update.

I've been with Rochen for over one year now. I've chosen to upgrade my account several times and I don't regret it one bit. I currently host 6 domains with them though only two are fairly busy. Their service has been solid, and the only outages have been minor or caused by users. I would put the up time well into the 99.97% or above range.

In addition as policy changes have been considered, such as email filtering with spam cop etc, Rochen has shared their thoughts and plans with us and has listened to their customers input before taking any course of action that would impact us.

Help Desk ticket resolution is phenomenal. The average time for priority 1 or 2 (user selected) trouble tickets for myself has been under 1 hour. Keep in mind that many of my tickets get filed at odd hours like 1 am EST or 6 am EST. Priority 3 domain adds and such are also handled in a very timely manner.

If you want the cheapest host in the world they are out there somewhere, I was with one of them prior to Rochen and was sharing my domain on a server with 700+ other domains! Also English was their second language so getting help was trying to say the least. With Rochen you may pay a modest amount more but every cent is worth it, for every minute I don't have to worry about my domains. They are in good hands.
