Having been shafted well & truly by two other budget hosting services, ie. Colahost & Hostonce, I'd like to be convinced that setting up with your lot isn't going to end up with me, sending lots of nasty letters & packets of white powder up to Caledonia ( and I'm no talking Rinso either!).
So hopefully you might answer these questions?
Do you host your client's domains on "rented" servers overseas?
Do you have connections with the Russian mafia?
Does your sister fancy a lumber wae a Tazzie Devil?
Cheers

So hopefully you might answer these questions?
All our servers are rented in the NAC data center (http://www.nac.net). This is one of the best data center's out there.
As for all your other questions, the other would be no.

I used to be on colahost too... so I know how ya feel...
Rochen are better than they advertise ;)
You shouldn't find any problems with Rochen, customer support is second to none.

hmmm yeah...
I'm a friend of Birkoffs...
I felt sorry for him when colahost magically removed its contact links and shut up shop...:crap:
I've never had the huge problems that Birkoff had on my old host... although Rochen is much cheaper and has more features so *I* believe I'm getting great stuff at a quality price.
The team are very dedicated in helping customers with queries, and answer normally within an hour or so rather than days or not answering at all (no fingers pointed at colahost, honest lol)
The downtime is minimal, and within moments of an event a notification is posted here as to why it has happened. I can't ask for more than honesty and timeliness. I'd rather have that than illusions and false promises.
Rochen also provide a good deal of two way communication; they provide a little leeway and if a suggestion by a member is not going to affect another client, then they might implement it for you.
Most hosts ask for suggestions on improving their service, Rochen has been the first host I’ve came across; that has actually listened to those suggestions.

Sorry to hear about your bad experiences at your old host.
No, you won't experience those types of horrific events here at Rochen Host. These guys give it their all when it comes to support for the customer.
Yea, the servers are hosted overseas (across the pond from the UK), in the United States. Their customer servers are located at NAC.Net who has an extensive network built with connections to multiple connection points on the Internet.
Here is the NAC.Net Network Map.

Hi Jim,
Just wanted to let you know that I have used a lot of different hosting companies over the years (Digital Zones, iPowerweb, FeaturePrice, etc) and have never... NEVER had a hosting company quite like Rochen.
Trust me on this... if I am wrong, I will give you my Russian Mafia contact list. ;)
Cheers,
Pat
