I don’t pay as much as I was at OLM, I have faster servers, more bandwidth, and better tech support. Rochen does not have a tech support number, but in my experience the support is faster then _any_ of my old host's support from their 800 number--faster is better.

The only thing I worry about now is my grammar in my post, because you know Rochen is from the UK, and they know how to use the language over there. Their servers are at home here in Texas (my home at least), ya all.

Don't forget some of our staff are in the USA as well as Australia (me) :) but, yes, we do speak English ;) .. well that, and American and Australian.

Overall I am very pleased with Rochen, and I would not switch. Here is why I recommend Rochen:

Speed
When we moved kingfitness and step13 to Rochen we noticed a vast improvement in performance.

Outstanding support.
I have had hosted sites since 1997 (back then I was still scripting for lynx :-) Poor support is why I jump hosts. I can honestly say Rochen is the best support I have had. If they keep up the support, I will not leave.

Some example of my support question
.htaccess files, rewriting urls
MX record redirects
Parked domains and email addresses
One on't cross beams gone owt askew on treadle

Personality
I like to interact with the Rochen team, they have a good sense of humor and bear with my questions. They have a standing invite to Tex-mex if they are ever in Austin.

A Con
I was disappointed with the amount of Disk Space with the account as I use i-map email and wanted to use it to mirror my handheld, laptop, and desktop. Not big enough to make me jump ship.

No Phone support
After working with them for 11 or so months I don’t see the need for it.

I just asked to have some DNS updated and support was less then my hold time at my old Host.

I am an independent web developer and my livelihood depends on my hosting company providing outstanding service. My Hosting company is a reflection of how I do business. I am continuously impressed with Rochen.
